We don’t guess…We Know !
Soil Testing is the only way to know exactly what your Lawn Care needs are. HOW ? can a lawn care company customize a Basic Lawn Care, Custom Lawn Care or Organic Lawn Care Program without soil testing? Listening to a soil test and “not a telemarketer” is your first step to a greener, lush lawn with deeper roots and less chemicals. Did you know you could be losing up to 50% of your soils nutrients? Let’s get started now…Contact us today for more information and your Free Lawn Care Analysis.
So why should I use Costello Landscaping for my lawn care, shrub care, reseeding or other landscape needs? Although customers are often attracted to us because of chemical concerns, how we keep our customers is with outstanding service, communication and safe products. We encourage anyone who often finds companies lacking in results, knowledge or follow-through to give us a call. It’s precisely that type of customer who appreciates us the most.
A TRUE STORY…
Almost 25 years ago when I was first employed with “One of those BIG COMPANIES” my Tree & Shrub training consisted of “being shown how to spray the shrubs in a horizontal then vertical pattern”. THAT WAS IT….I was never trained which insects or diseases where on the shrubs or even the common names of the shrubs. What I feared the most was if a customer was home and asked me to look at their “Rose of Sharon” or "Blue Star" or "PJM"…..I didn’t even know what they looked like ! I had to buy out of my own pocket over $300 of books and manuals so I could learn how to do my job. Which I did…. but I also learned that customers really deserved better service than “fast food lawn care” or as we love to say “a telemarketing company that does lawn care on the side”.
Now, almost 25 years later, I have held the highest license the DEP issues for my industry since 1991. Over the years I have worked ‘hands on’ with 1000’s of properties, worked with Soil Scientists, Entomologist, and leaders in the Organic Field just to name a few…It all comes down to one thing. Do you enjoy what you do……..YES (but I hate pulling weeds in my own vegetable garden).
Over mulching has always been an issue, see below
